Uno de los motivos por los que me decidí a estudiar una carrera universitaria de informática fueron los videojuegos. Desde que recuerdo, casi siempre he tenido una de esas «maquinitas» (como decía mi padre) y me ha gustado ir a los salones recreativos a echarme una partida.
No tuve ordenador de 8 bits como algunos de mis amigos. Comencé con una Atari 2600 con más de 100 juegos, para continuar con una NASA (clónica de la NES), Game Boy, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS y Wii. Actualmente suelo jugar al NBA 2K18 de PC y a la juegos clásicos de Nintendo Classic Mini y Super Nintendo Classic Mini.
Hace unos meses llegó a mis manos el libro «La Enciclopedia Homebrew vol. 1» y empecé a investigar un poco sobre el tema. La verdad es que hay una gran comunidad de desarrolladores «caseros» y me ha picado el gusanillo de desarrollar algún videojuego como los que veía cuando era pequeño, con esos ordenadores Amstrad CPC y ZX Spectrum que tenían algunos de mis amigos. Hasta incluso para la NES.
En esta sección iré subiendo tutoriales, videojuegos que, poco a poco, vaya desarrollando y comentaré libros de desarrollos homebrew que vayan llegando a mis manos.
